A few weeks ago I just happened to be reading my Twitter time line while at work (because that never happens) and I just happened to catch Jason Johnson ( @cultstuff ) from posting for entries into a lottery style drawing where the winner had the opportunity to have a piece of art showcased in an upcoming base card set.  I dropped my name in the hat, so to speak, and a little while later I hear back that my name was drawn!! I was SO excited!! Not only do I love to have my work showcased in pretty much any venue that will have me, I’ve been wanting to do some work for CultStuff for a while now.  I figured this was the perfect opportunity to create something really special.  The theme: Private Detectives!!  You can read a little snippet about the upcoming set (and read my name announced as the winner of the Twitter contest) on the CultStuff website (post dated March 23, 2011).  Here’s the image I provided to the set.

This was a really fun piece to work on and I hope I get the chance to work on more CultStuff projects in the future. I also submitted to a few sketch card companies this week to try and get some work on some sets so keep your fingers crossed for me. 🙂

Thanks for reading!!
